I work at SCS Direct in Shelton, CT. In my role as a Digital Marketing Specialist, I manage digital advertising campaigns for the company&#8217;s products on online marketplaces, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Shein, and Temu. My team and I work directly with our Brand Management, Creative, and Omnichannel teams to ensure our product listings are optimized across all platforms to generate as many sales as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also craft valuable social media ad content for the in-house brands of SCS Direct on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. As a result of our work, customers shop more often and interact with our brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I never knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. But I always had a bit of a creative side and had a passion for social media. As I learned more about the digital media world throughout my college career, I couldn&#8217;t help but want to pursue it in the future. Now, being able to work in that area and getting a taste of both the creative and analytical sides of marketing, I feel that I have finally found my place. And the work I&#8217;ve completed in the Interactive Media &amp; Communications program coincides with my professional interests.
